Poznan's message to Irish fans: 'Goodbye and come back soon'

IT SEEMS THAT Poznan simply can not get enough of the green army.

They are not content that hordes of Irish fans have overrun the city for the past week (with a brief reprieve as they moved to Gdansk), but now they want to invite Irish fans to do what they do best.

That would be partying before the Italy game tomorrow night., then.

Reports on Twitter from @irish_abroad and @tetsujin1979 are spreading the word of the festivities.

This invitation for one final fling was reportedly handed out by officials prior to last night’s Group A deciding fixtures.

Hopefully, they’ll still be happy to have us even after Poland are out.
