Munster slip-up again, Connacht come unstuck and the weekend's Pro12 highlights

OVERALL, IT WAS a disappointing weekend for the provinces in Pro12 action as Connacht and Munster slipped to narrow away day defeats while Leinster were left frustrated by the weather.

Ulster did, however, return to winning ways with a hard-fought victory over Edinburgh on Friday evening.
