The 34-year-old New Zealand captain will hope to have a big impact on the post-tackle area at this year’s World Cup again, having excelled at ruck time in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 tournaments.

McCaw’s Crusaders missed out on the Super Rugby play-offs this season, leaving him with time to give a breakdown tutorial to ‘The Breakdown’ hosts Ian Jones and Jeff Wilson, both of them former internationals themselves.
