Rio cries foul after White House pic is deleted

The defender has had a picture of security staff in Washington removed from his Twitter account.

RIO FERDINAND WAS left feeling the weight of Big Brother after coming to the attention of the US secret service during a visit to the White House on Thursday.

The Manchester United defender uploaded a picture of security staff to his Twitter account during his visit to Barack Obama’s residence – an image that was quickly removed by a third party.

On realising what had happened, the 32-year-old tweeted: “Whoa….some1 has got into my phone + taken down my pics off twitter….this is deep…is jack Bauer in Washington?”

A picture of Ferdinand in the State Dining Room and of his colleagues eating cookies outside the White House later on were not deleted and he continued to tweet about the incident the follow day saying: “Feel like I’m being watched by some undercover jack Bauer type dudes… phone hacked into etc.”

Perhaps a case for Mulder and Scully?
