EVERY SUMMER, A number of youngsters make the wider GAA community sit up and take notice of their talents with barnstorming Championship performances. Think Bernard Brogan, Brendan Maher, Michael Murphy.

As this year’s Championship kicks off, TheScore.ie takes a closer look at eight players who could really make a name for themselves this year. Some already have made their presence felt at senior inter-county level, others are only breaking through – but all are worth tracking, for one reason or another.
