The League of Ireland has already produced a couple of Goal of the Season candidates.

ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC’S Chris Forrester threw his name in the hat for Goal of the Season earlier this week with a breathtaking strike from long range but Robbie Benson’s goal for UCD in their 1-1 draw with Derry at the Brandywell last night was pretty special.
