Rory McIlroy's post-Wozniacki hot-streak continues with 63 to lead Memorial Tournament

RORY MCILROY SHOT an incredible 63 to lead after the opening round of of the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.

The only blip on the round was double bogey on the par four 14th. But with  seven birdies and two eagles, including the below putt on the 11th hole, McIlroy had given himself plenty of room to take a clubhouse lead.

Today’s 63 comes on the back of the Co. Down man’s shock BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth last Sunday, a tournament win made remarkable his break-up with fiancée Caroline Wozniacki just days previously.

McIlroy is three shots clear at the top of the leaderboard with Paul Casey, Chris Kirk, and Bubba Watson all tied for second place on six under par.
