Mayo face tricky trip to Clare in Round 3A, Meath to host Donegal

Both games will be played this weekend, 8/9 July.

MEATH WILL HOST Donegal this weekend in the next round of the All-Ireland senior football championship qualifiers.

Clare will have home advantage against Mayo in the other Round 3A tie following this morning’s draw.

The CCCC will meet later this afternoon to confirm the venues, dates and times for both games.

Mayo survived a huge scare in Castlebar on Saturday where they needed extra time before eventually beating Derry by 11 points to book their place in round three.

Their reward is a trip to face Clare after last year’s All-Ireland quarter-finalists scored an easy 2-18 to 0-14 win against Laois.

Donegal struggled for long periods before beating Longford by five points in Ballybofey, and next up for Rory Gallagher’s side is a trip to face Meath who registered their first qualifier win in six years at the weekend, a two-point victory over Sligo.
