Schmidt names strong Leinster side for Zebre clash

The Irish contingent returns from November Series action.

GORDON D’ARCY WILL earn his 211th cap for Leinster in Saturday evening’s RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Zebre at the RDS.

The Irish contingent returns from November Series action, with Eoin Reddan partnering Jonathan Sexton at half-back.

Leo Cullen will lead the team from second row, alongside Damian Browne, while there is a home debut for Ireland tight-head prop Michael Bent.

Bent is named in the front row alongside Sean Cronin and South Africa’s Heinke van der Merwe, while Andrew Goodman retains his place after starting the province’s last two away league games.

Joe Schmidt has named a strong bench, with Cian Healy, Mike Ross and Isaac Boss all included.

Leinster: Nacewa; Conway, D’Arcy, Goodman, McFadden; Sexton, Reddan; van der Merwe, Cronin, Bent; Cullen, Browne; McLaughlin, Ruddoc, O’Brien.

Replacements: Dundon, Healy, Ross, Denton, Murphy, Boss, Madigan, Carr.
