ANDY ROBINSON HAS made seven changes to his side for Sunday’s Six Nations showdown with Ireland at Murrayfield.

Dan Parks is replaced by Ruaridh Jackson who will make his first start. Veteran Chris Paterson comes in with Sean Lamont, Mike Blair, Moray Low, Richie Gray and Glasgow Warriors’ Johnnie Beattie.

Northampton centre Joe Ansbro, full-back Hugo Southwell and Toulon full-back Rory Lamont are all out injured.

The Scots have lost their first two games, the opening day defeat in Paris and the loss at home to Wales.

Head coach Robinson said: ‘We know that Ireland will bring their own distinct physicality and guile to Murrayfield on Sunday and it is up to our squad to front up to that challenge.

We must play with belief and eliminate the mistakes which have bedevilled us in our opening two games and we must produce a performance that restores the pride in all Scotland supporters.

“We have made changes with a view to securing our first win of the competition and giving our supporters the lift that they deserve,” he added.
