Rovers leave with Copenhagen, still in the tie

The Hoops were beaten one nil in Denmark in the first leg of the Champions League third qualifying round.

SHAMROCK ROVERS HAVE been beaten1-0 away to FC Copenhagen this evening.

Rovers went one down after just four minutes with a goal from Solvi Ottesen, who headed in from a corner kick.

The return leg will be fought out in Tallaght next week.

The Hoops made it to the UEFA Champions League qualifier after a scoreless draw with FC Tallinn in Estonia last week.
