Allstar defender back from cruciate injury for Sligo as one debut handed out in attack

Charlie Harrison returns to the starting Sligo team for championship action.

ALLSTAR WINNING DEFENDER Charlie Harrison will return to championship action for Sligo for Sunday’s Connacht semi-final against Roscommon.

Harrison, who won an Allstar in 2010, missed the 2015 campaign after tearing his cruciate but has recovered and is named at wing-forward for Sunday’s clash.

Sligo have handed out a debut in attack to corner-forward Brian Egan while Adrian McIntyre returns at centre-back for the championship after taking a break for the 2015 season.

Meanwhile, Roscommon have made just one change from the team that beat Leitrim last month.

Senán Kilbride returns to their side in place of Diarmuid Murtagh, who was ruled out through injury. Otherwise, joint managers Kevin McStay and Fergal O’Donnell have kept faith with the men who overcame Leitrim.
