Don’t touch that dial… here’s the sport on TV this weekend

The All-Ireland, the Ryder Cup and some great Premier League games are all taking place in the coming days.

  • One to watch: As anyone who watched the first game will know, the All-Ireland final between Galway and Kilkenny is likely be a thrilling and closely fought affair.
  • One to Sky+: This year’s Ryder Cup looks like being as fascinating and finely balanced as ever. It also takes place at certain ungodly hours though, so you may need to record some of it.
  • One to skip: I don’t know about you, but the prospect of watching Nottingham Forest v Derby in the Championship isn’t especially tempting to us.
