Schools Success: St Michael's and Rockwell College advance to rugby finals

There was semi-final action in the Leinster and Munster Schools Senior Cup today

REIGNING CHAMPIONS ST Michael’s booked their place in the final of the Leinster Schools Senior Cup this afternoon.

In Donnybrook, St Michael’s claimed a 21-17 victory over Newbridge College.

St Michael’s lead 14-10 at half-time and held on despite a fightback from their opponents to clinch victory and set up a final meeting with Blackrock College.

Meanwhile in Clanwilliam, Rockwell College defeated St Munchin’s 13-6 in the semi-final of the Munster Schools Senior Cup.

They now go forward to bid for their third successive title in what will be the school’s fifth successive final.
