NORWICH CITY HAVE added Scotland international Steven Naismith to their ranks.
The 29-year-old attacker joins the Canaries from Everton on a three-and-a-half year deal worth a reported £8 million (€10m), having moved to the Toffees from Rangers in 2012.
Capped 41 times at international level, he should provide competition for Ireland schemer Wes Hoolahan among others and is Norwich’s fifth signing of the January transfer window after Matt Jarvis, Timm Klose, Ivo Pinto and Ben Godfrey.
“I’m very happy to have signed because now I can concentrate on the football side of things,” Naismith said.
“Norwich have displayed class in the way they’ve done their business all the way through. They’ve shown how much they wanted me, which is great, and I’m delighted to be here.”
Canaries boss Alex Neil added: “We are delighted to conclude this deal and bring Steven to the Club.
“He’s a proven performer at Premier League level and an established international with Scotland so arrives with excellent pedigree.”
