1. #USPGA Rory McIlroy plans to play through the pain barrier in Atlanta this morning.

The Holywood man injured his right wrist with the ill-advised swing in the opening round of the PGA Championship.

McIlroy played on after his mishap at the third hole, but in obvious pain. He had the wrist checked out by a physical therapist. He eventually finished even par. Steve Stricker leads the way after a stunning round.

2. #GAA All-Ireland champions Tipperary have selected an unchanged team to face Dublin in Sunday’s senior semi-final at Croke Park on Sunday.

3. #RWC2011 Declan Kidney yesterday named a much-changed side for the trip to Bordeaux this weekend.

Ireland face France tomorrow evening in their second World Cup warm-up group. Leo Cullen will skipper the side. (We’ll go minute-by-minute.)
