1. #PREMIER LEAGUE Liverpool had a day to remember in a season to forget yesterday.

Kenny Dalglish’s men ran out 3-1 winners over title hopefuls Manchester United. Dirk Kuyt hit all three goals at Anfield.

5. #SIX NATIONS Ireland coach Declan Kidney added a dozen players to his panel for the clash with Wales on Saturday.

Rhys Ruddock, Fergus McFadden, Tony Buckley, Kevin McLaughlin, Mick O’Driscoll, Donnacha Ryan, Gavin Duffy, Andrew Trimble, Johne Murphy, Tomas O’Leary, Devin Toner and Mike McCarthy are added to the squad.

6. #HORROR During Liverpool’s famous win at Anfield, Nani was stretchered off in tears after a bad Jamie Carragher tackle.
