The Morning Score: Thursday

Spurs and Arsenal share the spoils in a thrilling North London derby and Jose Mourinho takes his first trophy in Spain.

1. #PREMIER LEAGUE Spurs and Arsenal played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at White Hart Lane last night.

The result does little for either side’s league goals but Harry Redknapp was decidedly more happy on the final whistle with the Gunenrs throwing away another two-goal lead.

2. #GAA We sent Niall along to Croker yesterday to interview some of those preparing for the Allianz NFL finals. He enjoyed the sandwiches, we believe.

Bryan Cullen seems up for the showdown with Cork while Laois manager Justin McNulty said Donegal will travel to Dublin with a ‘point to prove’.

3. #EL CLASICO Real Madrid came out on top in the second of four quick-fire Barca-Real games last night.

A Cristiano Ronaldo header in extra time at the Mestalla earned Jose Mourinho his first trophy at the club as they won a tense Copa del Rey finale.

4. #MAGNERS LEAGUE Ulster must plan without Irish internationals Andrew Trimble and Paddy Wallace for this weekend’s clash with Connacht at Ravenhill.

The pair are unlikely to play any further provincial rugby this season after they both fractured thumbs during Saturday’s 34-26 defeat against Leinster.

5. #READY TO RUMBLE David Haye’s world heavyweight title unification bout with Wladimir Klitschko will take place on 2 July in Hamburg.

The WBO champion finally agreed terms to meet IBF/WBO holder Klitschko last month on either 25 June or 2 July with several venues in contention.

Klitschko’s manager Bernd Boente confirmed that the 57,000-capacity Imtech Arena would stage the blockbuster contest after other venues, including options in Switzerland and Ukraine, were considered.

6. #GOING VIRAL If it’s Thursday, it must be YouTube chart day. It is Thursday right?

In the interim, here’s Dejan Stankovic doing what he does best last weekend.
