1. #RWC2011 A late rally from Canada earned them a 23-23 draw against Japan in Napier this morning. With five minutes on the clock, out-half Ander Monro dragged his side back into the match with a try before he kicked the game-tying penalty with just two minutes remaining.

The morning’s second match is nearing its conclusion as Ireland’s Pool C rivals Italy and the USA go head-to-head in Nelson. Catch up with the latest in our minute-by-minute report here.

2. #DAVY FITZ Reports this morning indicate that Davy Fitzgerald is in line for a sensational homecoming as Clare senior hurling boss, just weeks after quitting the Waterford set-up.
