Manchester United march on – and everything else you need to know this morning, besides where the car keys are.

1. #CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Manchester United booked their place in the European Cup semi-finals with a 2-1 home win overa 10-man Chelsea.

Hernandez and Park got the United goals either side of Drogba strike and Ramires sending-off.

Meanwhile, Barcelona cruised past Shaktar Donetsk with an almost redundant 1-0 win in Ukraine.

2. RECOVERY Hopes are high that Peter Toole will make a full recovery. The Irish jockey was briefly brought out of an induced coma by doctors as the 22-year-old continues to recover in a Liverpool hospital following his fall at Aintree.

The County Meath man suffered bleeding on his brain after a serious fall from 100/1 shot Classic Fly during the Maghull Novices’ Chase on Saturday.

3. #CHAMPIONS LEAGUE We’ll put on a bit of a spread and put the kids to bed early tonight as we host another European Cup minute-by-minute. Do join us, but BYOB.

Inter Milan travel to Gelsenkirchen to take on Schalke who have a 5-2 lead. Real Madrid, meanwhile are in London for their return leg with Spurs. It might be the greatest night of football comebacks ever. It just might.

4. #BOY IN GREEN Kevin Doyle is targeting a return to action - with Ireland. The Wexford man says a Nations Cup return is a possibility and accepts he will miss Wolves’ fught for survival in the Premier League.

5. #CAPITAL PUNISHMENT Alan Brogan is likely to miss the league finale with Cork. Dublin officials hoped new video evidence would see him beat the four-game wrap but none was found on their own cameras.

6. BOOM! We brought you this yesterday, but it might wake you up this morning. The Bulls’ Flip Van Der Merwe takes a massive hit this weekend.
