EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING TheScore bring you all sport you can digest before that first cup of coffee.

1. #SECOND CHANCE Cian O’Connor will represent Ireland at the London Olympics, eight years after he was stripped of gold.

O’Connor’s horse, Waterford Crystal, tested positive for banned substances but now O’Connor will be back in the saddle thanks to equestrian team’s decision to row back on their selection of Denis lynch.

Hypersensitivity of his horse, Lantinus, has shrouded Lynch’s Olympic bid in uncertainty and the rider has responded with harsh words towards team manager Robert Splaine. Horse Sport Ireland Last night insisted that the possibility of another disqualification was not palatable.

2. LONDON EYE Tony Martin has retired early from this year’s Tour de France. The German time-trial specialist took the decision after nursing a fractured wrist since stage one. He will concentrate his attentions on Olympic gold.

3. #TDF sticking with Le Tour; Cofidis have suspended Remy Di Gregorio after police raided the team hotel to question the Frenchman on doping allegations.

Former Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong, has been further targeted by USADA after the agency issued lifetime bans to three of the Texan’s former staff members. Pepe Marti, Luis Garcia del Moral and Michele Ferrari were all on Armstrong’s medical staff for periods between 1999 and 2003. Armstrong has responded by refiling a lawsuit against USADA.

4. #LAR Tipperary have made just one change for their team to face Waterford in the Munster hurling final on Sunday. Lar Corbett will replace the injured Gearoid Ryan. It will be the Sarsfield man’s first inter-county start of 2012.

5.#JT The trial of John terry will continue at Westminster Magistrates Court in London today. Yesterday, the Chelsea skipper took the stand to give his side of the events which led to a formal complaint being made against him; alleging he racially abused Anton Ferdinand. Read the full story here.
