Brendan Maher and Seamus Callanan to go head-to-head in Tipperary SHC semi-finals
TIPPERARY TEAM-MATES Brendan Maher and Seamus Callanan will go head-to-head when their clubs meet in the Tipperary senior hurling championship semi-finals this weekend.
The draw for the last four was made this evening, with the meeting of Borris-Ileigh and Drom & Inch the standout tie to be played next Sunday.
Maher will be hoping to lead his club to a first county final since 1988 while Callanan will line out for Drom & Inch, who won the competition in 2011.
The other semi-final sees defending champions Thurles Sarsfields host Éire Óg Annacarthy.
