The coach who led a fake national team which played Bahrain two weeks ago has been suspended by the Togolese Football Federation (TFF).
Tchanile Bana had been assistant coach for the Togolese national side but led out a team against Bahrain for a friendly which claimed to be the national team but in fact weren’t.
“The organisation, the preparation and supervision of the match were planned by Tchanile Bana,” the TFF said in a statement after Togo lost 3-0.
Bana had been suspended in July for two years by the TFF for arranging a match without their consent against Egypt.
