FORMER DONEGAL FOOTBALLER Antoin McFadden has transferred to join top Clare club Cratloe.
The Limerick Leader reports that McFadden, who is strength and conditioning coach with the Limerick county footballers, has already made his first appearance for the club.
An All-Ireland winner in 2012, McFadden left the Donegal panel in 2014 and began coaching Newcastle West where he is now the joint-manager.
He transferred from his home club St Michael’s to join Cratloe, who are bidding to regain the county title they won in 2013 and 2014.
Meanwhile, Limerick midfielder Tom Lee has also transferred clubs, just two weeks ahead of the Munster championship quarter-final.
Lee has transferred back to his native club Headford in Galway. He originally moved to Limerick club Ballylanders before the 2011 season and committed to playing inter-county football with the Shannonsiders.
His transfer was fully sanctioned by Croke Park officials at the end of April after Lee didn’t feature in either of Ballylanders’ championship games.
