TOMMY WALSH GOT his AFL career up and running in some style early on Saturday morning, scoring his first goal in a huge victory for the Sydney Swans over the Melbourne Demons.
The former Kerry star was one of the top performers at the Sydney Cricket Ground as the home side heaped more pressure on Melbourne boss Mark Neeld, winning 138-37.

The Swans now find themselves back in the top four after recording their first 100+ score in six years.
Walsh got off the mark in the second quarter of the game when Alex Johnson found him alone in the goalsquare, and he took his effort with some aplomb.
He added another late in the match and was named as one of the Swans’ best performers in the game.
