The strangest tradition in college basketball involves fans throwing hundreds of rolls of toilet paper

Welcome to the ‘TP Game’.

JOHN BROWN UNIVERSITY is a small NAIA school in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

And at the beginning of their men’s basketball team’s season, their fans perform one of the more unusual traditions in college sports.

It is called “The TP Game.” And John Brown’s students celebrate their team’s first points of the season by throwing hundreds of rolls of toilet paper on to the court, in a move that has been dubbed “the best technical foul in sports.”
