Retro Deal of the Day: Robbie Fowler to Cardiff City
On this day in 2007 Robbie Fowler moved from Liverpool to Cardiff City.
‘God’ had spent a second stint at Anfield and moved to the Championship club on a free transfer at the age of 32, signing a two year deal.
However, Fowler spent just one season playing with the Bluebirds — scoring four goals in 13 appearances — before moving to onto Blackburn after refusing a pay-as-you-play contract with Cardiff for the 2008/09 season.
