'I hope he has got rid of all his fuel' -- Trapattoni ready for genius of Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Ireland have to face him in March. Gulp.

AFTER IRELAND WERE beaten by Greece at the Aviva Stadium last night, manager Giovanni Trapattoni got some more bad news.

Ireland’s World Cup qualification group rivals had beaten England 4-2 in Stockholm, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored all four. And what a collection of goals.

Asked by reporters how he will attempt to keep the Swede quiet next year, he answered with a smile: “I hope he’s finished, I hope he has got rid of all his fuel.

“We know Ibrahimovic very well. He is one of those strikers who can score a goal alone. There are other strikers who need the team, but he is one of those – as  Ronaldo is and Messi another; strikers who can create goals for themselves,” he added.
