A little respect

Trinidad and Tobago player bows down before Messi during pre-match handshakes

What would Roy Keane make of it all?

WE LOVE LEO Messi as much as the next man but there is a time and a place for paying him his due respects.

Bowing down before him on the pitch is a step too far.

Messi was in Buenos Aires last night as Argentina continued their World Cup preparations with a 3-0 friendly win against Trinidad and Tobago.

As he lined up to shake hands during the pre-match formalities, Ataullah Guerra decided to skip the handshake and went for a full-on bow instead.

Obviously the T&T assistant manager is a lot more forgiving than one Roy Maurice Keane would be…

Ireland drop again in FIFA rankings, now officially the worst they have been since rankings started
