TROY PARROTT ENJOYED a winning start to life with Real Betis as he made his debut off the bench in their 1-0 win away to Valencia on Tuesday night.
Parrott came on in the 71st minute to the tie at the Mestella Stadium, and he saw another substitute Pablo Garcia grab the only goal of the game seven minutes from time.
The Ireland striker was involved in the build-up play as Real Betis counter-attacked from a Valencia corner, and Garcia cracked home a brilliant left-footed finish.

The win sees Real Betis maintain their perfect start to the La Liga season with two wins from two, and leaves them second in the table, only behind early leaders and city rivals Sevilla on goal difference.
Real Betis travel to play Levante this Saturday, before they host Real Madrid on Friday week.
