SBG's Gunnar Nelson to headline UFC's return to Ireland

The event comes back to Belfast on 19 November.

GUNNAR NELSON WILL take on South Korea’s Dong Hyun Kim when the UFC returns to Belfast, it has been confirmed.

The Icelandic fighter, who trains out of Straight Blast Gym in Dublin along with Conor McGregor, will be hoping to have the home crowd behind him when he takes on Kim on Saturday 19 November at The SSE Arena.

Kim (21-3-1-1), is ranked 10th in the welterweight division, and comes into this bout after claiming consecutive finishes, most recently knocking out Dominic Waters last November.

Nelson (15-2-1), will also enter the Octagon full of confidence after a dominant submission win over Russia’s Albert Tumenov in May.

More fights for UFC Fight Night 99 are expected to be announced soon.
