the ball was there

Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque was absolutely laid out by the linesman last night

Was the 65-year-old looking for it?

SPAIN’S SEVEN-GAME winning run came to an end last night with a 1-1 draw against Italy.

And as much as that may have been frustrating for Vicente del Bosque, the Spanish boss also had to contend with being on the receiving end of a reckless first-half tackle…from the linesman.

With twenty minutes gone, the Azzurri looked to release Graziano Pelle with a ball down the line.

As the linesman followed the play, he ran straight into Del Bosque, with the 65-year=old ending up on the turf.

But it all ended in hugs and loves as the pair shook hands moments later.
