LIONEL MESSI WAS the main attraction at last night’s Ballon d’Or gala in Zurich but it was former US Women’s coach Pia Sundhage stole the show during her acceptance speech.
The Swede, who now manages the national team in her homeland, picked up FIFA Women’s Coach of the Year for leading the Americans to gold at London 2012 and upon accepting the trophy from Brazil boss ‘Big Phil’ Scolari, thanked her team before bursting into a few bars of Bob Dylan’s ‘If Not For You’.
