WATCH: Sonny Bill Williams weigh-in fight

In his spare time Williams likes nothing better than to relax, unwind and get punched in the face by professional boxers.

CLARENCE TILLMAN SURE, knows how to promote a fight.

The novelty of watching the All Black, Sonny Bill Williams, has been wearing off the New Zealand public of late.

So Tillman III, Williams’ latest opponent on his professional boxing flight of fancy, decided to take a swing at the rugby union convert after he had weighed in over 20 kilos heavier than the centre.

Standing by (obviously not quite so eager for a scrap) was Williams’ Crusaders and All Black team mate Liam Messam. However it was Sonny Bill’s brother John who put in the big tackle on Tillman, landing the American on the canvas after it all got a bit tasty.

“That wasn’t planned brother,” said a smiling Williams, “that was full on.”

Good thing there were cameras around.
