Wayne Rooney tells his Twitter friends he's had a hair transplant and is 'delighted' with the result

The Manchester United striker has told his followers on Twitter that he has had a hair transplant following rumours that he had been attending a hair clinic in London this week.

WAYNE ROONEY HAS revealed that he has had a hair transplant on Twitter this morning.

Fears that the Manchester United striker may have mislaid his phone and some mischievous friend has decided to tweet the revelations appear to be wide of the mark as team mate Rio Ferdinand was one of the first to congratulate the man he knows as ‘Wazza’.

This morning, The Daily Telegraph revealed that Rooney had been undergoing secret treatment to restore his hair growth at a cost of thousands of pounds.

Yesterday, The Sun published pictures of Rooney leaving the hair clinic in London where he has been undergoing treatment but the star refused to comment initially.

Now it appears Rooney has decided to be fully transparent about his thinning hairline and his desire for a full mop on top. He’s even asked his followers to get the hashtag #hairwego trending.
