KATIE TAYLOR HAS booked her place in the European Union Championships semi-finals in Poland.
The Irish fighter sealed a 16-5 win over Italy’s Marzia Davide in Katowice. The Bray woman will now face England’s Chantelle Cameron next.
Taylor is aiming for her fourth EU title in a row.
“I’m expecting a tough fight on Friday,” said Taylor afterwards. “She’s beaten some good opponents out here and her confidence will be high. She throws and lot of punches and it should be a very exciting semi-final.”
