WHILE WE ARE still waiting for this year’s Jimmy’s Winning Matches, Whipping Boys No More by Declan Clancy and Ruairí Henchy is probably the best GAA song we’ve heard so far this year.

With references to Fr. Ted, Gráinne Seoige and straw hats, it ticks an awful lot of boxes and, as Ruairí himself says, ‘gives Pavarotti, Christy Moore and Jim Corr a run for their money.’

Thanks to everyone who sent it our way.
