Seven points down, 160 seconds left but Wicklow manage to hit three goals to defeat Tipperary

Wicklow bagged three late goals in a brilliant comeback in Semple Stadium.

WICKLOW’S PROMOTION BID from Division 4 of the Allianz football league fell short yesterday despite their stunning comeback victory over Tipperary.

The Garden County were 4-12 to 0-22 winners over Tipperary but Clare’s win against Antrim meant it was the Banner who joined the Premier in the promotion places.

Still Wicklow didn’t go down without a fight as they remarkably came from seven points down with 160 seconds left to grab three late goals and triumph.
