A fourth Harty Cup decider in seven years beckons for the Limerick school.

Ardscoil Rís 0-13
St Colman’s (Fermoy) 1-9

LIMERICK’S ARDSCOIL RÍS booked a place in the Dr Harty Cup final today for the fourth time in seven years with a narrow win in their semi-final clash in Kilmallock.

Cork’s St Colman’s pushed Ardscoil all the way with the Fermoy school bidding to reach the decider for the first time since 2003.

Ardscoil Rís were narrowly in front 0-7 to 0-5 at the break but St Colman’s got a real boost early in the second-half when they pounced for the only goal of the game through Kyle Cronin.

St Colman’s were narrowly in front 1-8 to 0-10 by the 47th minute before a brace of points by Ardscoil pushed them ahead 0-12 to 1-8.

St Colman’s drew level but it was Ardscoil who hit the winner with two minutes remaining to ensure their passage to the decider.
