ASTON VILLA HAVE issued a response after controversial photos, allegedly of Jack Grealish, emerged on social media.
The photos appeared to show Grealish sprawled on a street after a night out in Tenerife.
Villa have since responded, saying the matter will be dealt with internally. The club have issued a statement, which reads:
“The club is aware of the photographs of Jack Grealish currently circulating.
“We will be meeting with the player but any action will remain an internal matter.
“There will be no further comment from the club.”
The 19-year-old Ireland U21 international enjoyed a breakthrough season at club level, playing an important role in both Aston Villa’s successful fight against relegation and their FA Cup run.
Both the English and Irish national teams are currently hopeful that Grealish will represent them at senior level.
