WITH JUST OVER an hour gone in Munster’s win over Treviso, back row CJ Stander found himself between a rock and a hard place.
His ankles are caught in this ruck and as a result of two Treviso forwards piling through the back while Tommy O’Donnell and Donnacha Ryan are driving in to his chest. The South African is forced to arch over in agony as his body takes up a position nobody wants to be in.
That would end most of us, but CJ sat down to take a bit of treatment, dusted himself off and ended up seeing out the 80 minutes.
