HE ENDED UP on the losing team today in Croke Park but there was some small consolation for Galway hurler David Burke.

The Tribesmen captain got the vote on The Sunday Game tonight for the man-of-the-match award from panellists Ger Loughnane and Tomas Mulcahy, after a terrific display by the St Thomas man.

Tipperary defensive pair James Barry and Padraic Maher were also nominated after they caught the eye with their performances.

Do you agree with the selection or would you have included a different nominee? Let us know.
