It was a tough night for the Dubliner.

HE WAS THE big underdog going into last night’s WBC featherweight championship title bout and Patrick Hyland could not pull off an upset.

The Dubliner was stopped in the second round by American Gary Russell Jr; this is how it happened:

The 31-year-old was looked at by doctors after the bout in the ring with Russell Jr watching on.
