It started with this worldy by Derrick Rose on Friday night:
And on Sunday, LeBron James showed that he wouldn’t be overshadowed as he levelled the Cleveland Cavaliers-Chicago Bulls series at two games apiece:
Sandwiched in between them on Saturday night was this sensational winner by Paul Pierce of the Washington Wizards:
Pierce made a magic moment even better in his post-game interview when he delivered the classic line “I Called Game”:
It has already inspired t-shirts:
And some artsy, slo-mo black and white tributes:
Pierce’s Wizards and the Atlanta Hawks met again on Monday night for Game 4, and Washington trailed by 104-101 with 9.5 seconds on the clock.

In Monday night’s other game, Steph Curry scored 33 points as the Golden State Warriors levelled their series with the Memphis Grizzlies at 2-2.
