STOP ME IF you’ve heard this one before.
Steph Curry was in superb form on Saturday night as the Golden State Warriors made it 41 consecutive games unbeaten at home with a 116-108 win over fellow Championship contenders Oklahoma City Thunder.
The run is the second-longest in NBA history and the Warriors just need four more victories in their own backyard to push ahead of the iconic Chicago Bulls side of 1995/96 who tallied 44.
With Curry, they stand a chance and he conjured 26 points and ten assists in another stand-out display.
Kevin Durant, who didn’t do badly either with 40 points and 14 rebounds, has over five inches on Curry but that didn’t stop the nailed-on MVP from making him suffer on a number of occasions.
First, there was a delicious three-pointer (it looks ever better in slow motion).
And then, in the dying moments and with the game still in the balance (Warriors up by four), Curry crossed-up Durant (essentially, selling him a dummy in football parlance) and made the rest look easy.
