Despite a series of stellar performances, Westwood’s place on the plane to France remains uncertain. In the past, O’Neill has questioned his reliability and failure to turn up for squad gatherings, adding:  “He’s a talented boy, definitely, but of course I would have a bit of concern.”

Stevens has thrived since moving to Portsmouth. The former Shamrock Rovers player has been named as the club’s Players’ Player of the Year this season. He has already played 90 minutes of a play-off first-leg, as Paul Cook’s side drew 2-2 with Plymouth last night.
