AIDAN WALSH AND Ciaran Sheehan will be available for Ireland for the International Rules second test after Cork GAA chiefs switched the date of the county’s intermediate hurling final.

Walsh’s club Kanturk face Sheehan’s Éire Óg club in the intermediate hurling showdown which has now been moved from Sunday October 27th to Sunday November 3rd.

The game will take place in Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 1.15pm and will be the curtain-raiser to the Cork senior hurling final which has also been deferred a week.

The Cork senior hurling semi-finals take place this Sunday with Sarsfields playing Ballymartle while Midleton take on Na Piarsaigh.

Walsh is the vice-captain of Paul Earley’s Irish International Rules squad while Sheehan is also part of the 23-man squad.

Ireland face Australia in the first test in Kingspan Breffni Park next Saturday night before the second test is held in Croke Park the following Saturday night.
