Anything good on the front page of Marca today?

Marca aren’t backing down after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez rubbished reports of a dressing room revolt against Jose Mourinho.

SPANISH NEWSPAPER MARCA has backed up reports of a dressing room struggle to oust Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho with a front page splash featuring messages from its club sources.

The move follows a press conference held yesterday by Real president Florentino Perez, who dismissed reports that Iker Casillas and Serigo Ramos gave club management an ultimatum and demanded that they fire Mourinho.

If Mourinho remains in charge beyond the summer, Marca said, several senior players are ready to leave the La Liga champions.

Perez rubbished the story as an attempt to “destabilise” the club but Marca countered today by splashing some of the redacted texts on its front page under the banner “Marca is not lying.”
