NEWCASTLE’S FORMER BAD boy Joey Barton has come over all bashful after revealing he has been refused an entry visa for Newcastle’s upcoming tour of the United States.
Barton, who has earned the reputation as football’s infant terriblé for a host of violent and petulant misdemeanour’s, last night accepted his plight on his Twitter page.
He also indicated he would be joining the Newcastle reserves on their Dutch tour instead.
He did have one parting shot at the States, comparing his visa plight - with American foreign policy. Tough and all as Barton thinks he is, I doubt he would do a job on mayonnaise, let alone in Helmund Province.
