WITH ALL THE excitement around yesterday’s brilliant All-Ireland hurling final replay, we missed this stunning goal from Jurijs Žigajevs for Latvian side FK Ventspils.
The 27-year old controlled a long ball on his chest before executing a perfect bicycle kick to give the Spartaks’ goalkeeper no chance.
We’re not sure what the Latvian for “eat my goal” is but we really hope Žigajevs shouted it after scoring.
